1. General
This Refund & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) governs all payments, transactions, and service engagements undertaken through SikshaConnects. By proceeding with any payment on the platform, the user acknowledges having reviewed, understood, and agreed to be bound by the terms contained herein.
All services offered by SikshaConnects are professional, advisory, and facilitative in nature, delivered through digital and communication-based channels.
2. Scope of Services
SikshaConnects provides academic guidance, counselling support, application assistance, and access to digital learning resources including, but not limited to, test series, study materials, and subscription-based content.
Given the customised and time-sensitive nature of these services, allocation of internal resources, expert bandwidth, and advisory inputs begins immediately upon confirmation of engagement.
3. Fee Structure and Charges
The total payable amount may comprise:
- A fixed professional service fee as applicable to the selected counselling programme
- Applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) as per prevailing statutory regulations
- Payment processing charges levied by third-party payment service providers (including but not limited to Razorpay), which may vary depending on the payment method selected
The final payable amount is displayed at the time of checkout.
4. Refund & Cancellation – Counselling Services
Upon successful payment, the user’s request is processed for onboarding, following which counselling services are considered to have been initiated.
Service initiation shall be deemed to include, without limitation, any one or more of the following actions:
- Allocation of a counsellor or expert resource
- Profile assessment and preliminary evaluation
- Preparation of college/course recommendations
- Communication through call, message, or email
Due to the immediate commencement of resource deployment and advisory inputs, such services are treated as consumed upon initiation. Accordingly, payments made towards counselling services are not eligible for cancellation or refund once the process has begun.
5. Digital Products & Content
All purchases relating to digital products — including test series, recorded lectures, downloadable materials, and subscription-based access — are final in nature.
Access credentials or availability of content shall be construed as successful delivery. Such transactions are non-cancellable, non-transferable, and not eligible for refund under any circumstances.
6. Exceptional Scenarios
Requests for refund may be reviewed solely in cases involving:
- Duplicate transactions for the same service
- Successful payment where no service access or initiation has occurred
- Verified technical or system-level discrepancies
All such requests must be submitted within 48 hours of the transaction and shall be subject to internal verification prior to approval.
7. Applicable Deductions
In the event a refund is approved under exceptional circumstances, applicable deductions may be made towards payment processing charges, taxes, or any third-party costs already incurred in facilitating the transaction.
8. Transaction Finality and User Responsibility
Users are advised to carefully review service details, pricing, inclusions, and eligibility criteria prior to completing any transaction.
Completion of payment shall be treated as confirmation of intent to engage services, and subsequent changes in individual preferences, timelines, or external outcomes shall not constitute grounds for reversal of the transaction.
9. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks
Users agree to contact SikshaConnects support for resolution of any concerns prior to initiating disputes with financial institutions.
Any chargeback or payment dispute raised without prior engagement may be contested with submission of transaction logs, communication records, and service activity evidence to the concerned payment authorities.
SikshaConnects reserves the right to suspend or restrict access to services in such cases.
10. Service Records and Verification
Service delivery may be executed through telephonic conversations, messaging platforms, email correspondence, or digital dashboards.
Records of such interactions, including system logs and communication history, shall be deemed valid evidence of service initiation and fulfilment.
11. Taxation and Invoicing
All applicable taxes shall be levied in accordance with prevailing laws. A valid tax invoice will be issued for each completed transaction.
Charges collected by payment service providers remain independent of the service fee and are governed by their respective terms.
12. Processing Timelines
Approved refunds, if any, shall be processed within 7–10 business days and credited to the original mode of payment, subject to the processing timelines of banking and financial institutions.
13. Modifications
SikshaConnects reserves the right to amend or update this Policy at its discretion. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any such revisions.
